2018 POSTER CONTEST

Kids from local schools participated in the  Lower Wind River Conservation District Poster Contest.  The Stewardship theme was “Watersheds: Our Water, Our Home”

There were 59 entries from Kindergarten— Sixth grade

Those who participated received a certificate

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!

The 1st place winners received $50 each

Katelyn Acres (4-6)

Braden Brost (2-3)

Troi Johnson (K-1)

2nd place winners received $30 each

3rd place winners received $20 each

These winning posters were selected to go to the Wyoming Association of Conservation District’s State competition.  State winners will then advance to the National Association of Conservation District’s national contest.

REMINDER OF IMPORTANT DATES

April 12–Last day to order seedling trees and shrubs

April 15–18, 2019–FREE well water testing

 

FINAL BUDGET

A public hearing was held on July 11, 2018.  The Board of Supervisors approved the Final Budget.  View the FINAL Budget for 2018-2019 here:
