Kids from local schools participated in the Lower Wind River Conservation District Poster Contest. The Stewardship theme was “Watersheds: Our Water, Our Home”
There were 59 entries from Kindergarten— Sixth grade

These winning posters were selected to go to the Wyoming Association of Conservation District’s State competition. State winners will then advance to the National Association of Conservation District’s national contest.
REMINDER OF IMPORTANT DATES
MAY 3–If you ordered trees, pick them up behind the office between 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. We have a few extra trees available on a first come first served basis.
MAY 8–Regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors in the conference room of the USDA Service Center from 5:00–7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
MAY 13-16, 2019–FREE well water testing. Come to the office for a sample kit and instructions.
We will be working on our proposed budget during the May 8 Board of Supervisors’ meeting. Come help us plan projects for 2019-2020.
